Whether you’re interested in taking a course on campus or online, in starting or continuing toward a degree, or in maximizing your military education benefits, K-State has a program that will work for you when and where you need it.

With a variety of delivery methods, locations, and services, you choose the option that works best with your schedule and offers the most comfortable learning environment for you.

You can even mix and match on-campus, evening, and online and distance courses to put together a program that works.

Military personnel stationed on active duty in Kansas, as well as their dependents, and members of the Kansas National Guard get a special tuition adjustment, so you can attend K-State at the in-state tuition rate. You can take your credit with you wherever you’re stationed or wherever you go.

Take a class on campus

K-State offers more than 250 undergraduate majors and options, and graduate students can choose from more than 100 master’s, doctoral, and certificate programs.

The K-State campus is only a 15-minute drive from Fort Riley, and you can take advantage of all the offerings of a Big 12 school, including tons of degree programs, outstanding research opportunities, career placement services, a vibrant campus life, nationally competitive sports teams, arts and cultural activities, and more.

Take an online/distance education class

Cutting-edge technology lets you complete your education or earn a degree without leaving your job or family. Choose from eight bachelor’s degrees, 16 master’s degrees, and 16 certificate and endorsement programs. With online/distance education, you will also have access to library and student services specifically tailored for distance students.

Take an evening class

Evening College offers courses in both eight- and 16-week schedules between 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. Courses range from English and political science to computer science, accounting, and family studies and vary from semester to semester. Three degree programs are also available: criminology, interdisciplinary social science, and life span human development.

K-State offers a variety of opportunities on post at Fort Riley, including K-State at Salina's certificate and K-State's 2 + 2 programs with Barton County Community College.
